چکیده
This study was conducted to evaluate and compare the clinical, hemato-biochemical endoscopic aspects of gastropathy in dogs treated with meloxicam alone or incombination esomeprazole misoprostol. Twenty baladi healthy were included experimental study. Dogs divided into four groups each group consisting five animals; Group I (control group), that does not receive any medication. Meloxicam into: II which received at a dose 0.2 mg/kg BWT per OS /24 hr. III animals same previous 1mg/kg IV misoprostol 3μg /kg tid. Upon drug administration, kept under observation for 14 consecutive days. Clinical analysis evaluated across time (T0, T3, T7, T10 T14). The image gastroscopic examination T7 T14), examinations applied all three points lesions scored by use 5-point scale. Clinically, most common clinical sings induced- inappetence anorexia, hematemesis, melena, abdominal pain weakness, specific gastric erosion, hemorrhage ulcers. Serum gastrin concentration is biochemically sensitive indicator gastropathy. overall results concluded meloxicam-induced more severe compared IV. proton pump inhibitor (esomeprazole) effective better tolerated than

Prevention and suppression by azathioprine of venom-induced protein-losing gastropathy in dogs.
Irrigation of the dog's oxyntic glandular mucosa contained in a chronically prepared, vagally denervated, separated pouch of the dog's stomach with a solution (0.5 mg ml-1) of lyophilized venom of the hooded cobra (Naja naja) increases the permeability of the mucosa. If irrigation with venom solution is repeated at weekly intervals, the mucosa responds with increasing plasma-shedding which reac...

متن کاملBiochemical and clinical features of hereditary hyperprolinemia
There are two classifications of hereditary hyperprolinemia: type I (HPI) and type II (HPII). Each type is caused by an autosomal recessive inborn error of the proline metabolic pathway. HPI is caused by an abnormality in the proline-oxidizing enzyme (POX). HPII is caused by a deficiency of Δ-1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate (P5C) dehydrogenase (P5CDh). The clinical features of HPI are unclear. Nephro...
